Twin-rotary pumps are multifunctional, bidirectional positive displacement pumps.

The pumps use synchronised rotors driven by a pair of timing gears within the gearbox. Power is transmitted through the main shaft and secondary shaft, causing the rotors to rotate synchronously in opposite directions. This pumping action creates a high vacuum and discharge pressure while allowing the pump capacity to vary according to operating conditions.

Twin-rotary pumps are particularly suitable for transferring hygienic, highly corrosive and high-viscosity media.
