The grinding pump is commonly referred to as a fine homogeniser. The main grinding unit features a double grinding-disc structure consisting of a rotor (moving toothed disc) and a stator (stationary toothed disc).
Both the rotor and stator contain three layers made up of independent toothed discs. These multi-layer discs are arranged from a wider gap to a narrower gap and from coarse to fine, working from the inside out. This allows raw materials with different particle sizes to enter the pump chamber smoothly for gradual grinding, dispersion and homogenisation.
The gap between the rotor and stator can be adjusted according to the particle size of the raw material or the specific process requirements. The grinding pump is available in three series: fixed, manually adjustable and automatically adjustable.
