Press Operation

Operating a roll compactor machine is characterized by its efficiency and simplicity. The stainless steel roll compactor machine's charge container is initially filled with fine or crystallized powder. The vertical feeding screw transports the powder from a preliminary compression chamber into the compacting zone, where it is compressed between the compacting rollers. An AC Variable Frequency Drive (AC VFD) precisely controls the feed screw's speed, maintaining optimal feeding and constant pressure delivery.

Once the powder enters the compacting rollers, it undergoes controlled compression at an adjustable speed, effectively forming firm chips or flakes. Adjusting the speed of both the rollers and feed screw allows for optimal production of high-quality flakes. The compacting rollers, coated with electroless nickel plating, assure a smooth and efficient compression process while preventing rust and extending the machine's lifespan.

After the initial compaction, the chips or flakes are further reduced to the desired granule size using machines like the oscillating granulator, multimill, communicating mill, or sizing machine. The appropriate sieve selection is valuable in determining the final granule size, while screening machines help remove any dust, improving the overall quality of the granules. The roll compactor machine also allows for the re-compacting or recycling of separated fines, maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.

In conclusion, Lodha Machine's stainless steel roll compactor machines are designed to deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and efficiency in the dry granulation process. Whether used in the pharmaceutical industry or other sectors, these machines produce high-quality granules that fulfill the high requirements of current production processes.
