The PUC perforated disc mill is used for the crushing of lumpy solid particles and for making pulp, such as for fruit and vegetables, meat, for the pre-crushing of soybeans and generally in the production and processing of food, chemical and cosmetic products and for the crushing of soaked paper.

The principle of the PUC perforated disc mill is based on a knife bar that rotates at a short distance from the perforated disc. The product is crushed between the knife bar and the perforated disc by the impact and cutting forces that occur, conveyed through the holes in the perforated disc and then discharged through a discharge plate or an impeller.

Depending on the product and task, the easily replaceable perforated discs with different bore diameters are used.
